Hope Hicks, 28, a former Ralph Lauren model has been hired to serve as White House interim communications director, replacing Anthony Scaramucci who was fired after just 10 days in the position for making derogatory statements.
Although, it's not the first time Hope is taking up a political duty, she worked as Trump's press secretary during his election campaign and she's reportedly his longest-serving political aide.
When Trump won the election, her patience and loyalty paid off and she got a new role in the Oval Office, director of strategic communications.
In that position, Hicks reportedly made the highest White house salary at $179,700 - equal to those of White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon and former White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus.
Hicks was a teenage model, who modeled for a Ralph Lauren campaign with her older sister Mary Grace at age 11. She was also signed to the top Ford modeling agency. She appeared as the face for the Gossip Girl spin-off book series 'The It Girl' and several others.
While holding the position of the White House communications director temporarily, Hicks will be making history as the youngest person to act in such position, which was created under President Nixon in 1969.
