There may be a syndicate of kidnappers working at the Lagos Int'l Airport- IG user raises alarm after his friend's recent experience
IG user @dr.braide, raised the alarm in a post he shared on his IG page. It read:
BE CAREFUL AT THE AIRPORT
This man approached my friend and her daughter when they arrived Lagos, Nigeria from London, saying he was sent to pick her from her mom. She questioned him, knowing her husband was on his way to pick them up. He still insisted by unfolding a paper with her name and that of her daughter's (Of which he got the spelling of her daughter's name totally wrong). The man kept trying to persuade them saying a car was waiting for them outside. It wasn't until my friend "changed it" for him that he backed off.
She tried to tell the security officials at the airport and even showed them the picture she took of him and they told her, "they will tell him not to do it again". Shoving the complaint aside like nothing happened. The airport officials are in on it.
This is serious! There may be a syndicate of kidnappers working at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport. I can only imagine how many people have fallen victim.
PLEASE INFORM RELATIVES AND FRIENDS COMING INTO THE COUNTRY. THEY SHOULD NOT ENTER ANY VEHICLE WITHOUT FIRST CONFIRMING THE SOURCE OF THE RIDE AND THE DRIVER'S IDENTITY.

If this is true, I doubt the faith of this nation. Full of deceit and immorality. 🙅🙅🙅🙅

Please please Stop fueling this misleading allegation. There has never been a report of anyone kidnapped from MMIA to warrant an allegation of a kidnap syndicate operating there!. Anyone who's arrived at MMIA knows the place is full of overzealous people trying to provide "service". This is what should be stopped really. The guy - who obviously has the relevant security clearance from his tag - probably went to the wrong passanger. And No kidnapper will pose for a picture in that manner. Stop scaring people unnecessarily.

Where you there? Didn't you read that he had a paper with the woman's name on it. I find it easy to believe because our people have totally lost dignity and honesty. This report is not to scare people but to make them careful. That's that
