Outrage as woman is refused entrance into Central Bank of Nigeria, Abuja for wearing this...
Social media users have expressed outage after a senior manager of an international organization was refused entrance into the Central Bank of Nigeria for wearing the dress in the above photo.
The woman went to Abuja from Lagos solely for a meeting at CBN but when she got there, the security receptionist refused to grant her entrance because, according to them, what she was wearing was very short.
Social media users are wondering why such a dress should be frowned at for a corporate meeting in a place that isn't a religious setting.

What do u expect, when the place is full of Moslems. They have done the same thing to me. Yes,I’m a staff of the CBN and a woman and I was turned away for a dress that was even longer than what you see here. But guess what? This is not the worst thing that is happening in the CBN in Abuja. If I tell you the shit that goes down there. These fucking Northerners (Moslems) run that place like the Org. belongs to them. If you see the amount of a Tina woman that are sexually molested, and guess what, it’s more prevalent with Married woman.

This has nothing to do with religion. In corporate circles there are set down rules on dress code and CBN is no exception. You don't wear a sleeveless gown into the place. The issue I'm sure is not with the dress length but the sleeves. It's pertinent you dress appropriately in corporate circles. Mind you, I'm a player in the entertainment industry and know this. She should know better!

Too Short Here simply refers to her sleeves not the lenght down. Come on,where is common sense in this woman for such a level in the corporate world. That's dress is indeed not suitable for her status and the type of meeting she is going to. The security is 100% right. Truth be told.

With all due respect, the person that brought it to this forum and the Cousin are stupid. When she was going for an interview at her international organization did she dress like this? People just make stupid comments. All this points to being educated illiterates. There is a dress code for all places and functions. You come up dressed like a housemaid because you Work in an international organization so every other person don’t count. The relatives should take the matter to their parents for not passing on common sense to them

My point is, if it is a corporate setting, there are acceptable dressing codes which she should know about. She might just say that she was refused entrance due to the length of the dress but I think its the casualty of it. No jacket, no suit.... She has to re-evaluate her dressing sense.

Kudos to the CBN receptionist, We need people to teach the uncultured ones that we have a culture of Modesty, and we will not allow the shitty remark of "it doesn't matter" to destroy our value system. Few days ago, i went to a bank in Lekki, you need to see the skimpy dress one of the banker wore, she was almost naked, i gave her a squinted rough look, so she will know that we ain't having that shit. I know hypocrites will want to bash me here, but you know the truth inside of you, only that the oshi you want to do have eroded your sense of judgement. Nonsense!

Why do Nigerians like attaching religion to everything. who is islamising CBN. If that is the code of CBN, why blame it on religion. Decent dressing should be only for religious places. In every facet of our lives, we should be decent in everything around us-be it dressing, behaviour, etc.
